Advantage:
1. Possible to cast blanks with complex shapes and inner cavities.
2. It can be applied to a wide range of castings, from a few grams to hundreds of tons.
3. Inexpensive and wide range of raw material sources.
4. The shape of the casting is relatively close to the dimension of the part, which reduces the cutting allowance.
Disadvantage：
1. Multiple processes and unstable quality easy to form waste products.
2. Shrinkage and blowhole are prone to occur in castings, resulting in low load bearing capacity.
Applicable:
Widely applicable, commonly used for large or simple shaped components.
